| "Bergen County Region III Council for Special Education is comprised of ten participating districts that provide special education services on a regional basis. The Northern Valley Regional High School District through the Bergen County Region III Office provide special education programming for 3 to 5 year olds with special needs in several areas of development through the PIE Program.
Additionally, the Northern Valley Regional High School District provide a specialized educational program for children ages 3-14 who have been diagnosed with Autism through the Valley Program. Additionally, Resource Center Programs are provided in each of the individual district schools. In response to a need for other specialized education programs in Region III, self-contained classes are provided to meet the needs of Region III students and are located in some of the Region III schools.
